Calcium Carbonate Test Successful

Western International Gas & Cylinder operates an acetylene plant near Houston. Calcium carbonate is a by-product of their process that they can sell. However, their customers wanted a greater concentration of solids than the plant had been able to provide. They had not been able to meet the need because the solids settle to the bottom of the tank and are not picked up by the pump.

They put a PULSAIR TNR-1000 mixer in a 20,000 gallon tank and pumped to a tank truck while mixing. The TNR-1000 was able to suspend the solids so that more product was delivered in the slurry. The test was so successful that Western purchased the TRN-1000.
