| Dong Ying Xin Yi Lubricant Company has installed PULSAIR systems on four 65 m3 (17,176 gallons) lube oil-blending tanks. Initially, they are installing PULSAIR into eight tanks. However, they purchased a PPC-12, which controls twelve tanks and affords the installation of four additional tanks at a later date. A financial feature of the PPC system is that it can be purchased in phases, defraying the total cost over time. |

Unlike the FT and VTS pneumatic systems that must be located near the tank, the PPC can be located anywhere on site and control up to 24 tanks. In addition to the budgeting advantages of adding tanks over time, the PPC also has economies of scale. When Dong Ying Xin Yi’s twelve tank installation is complete, the per tank cost will be lower than if pneumatic controllers had been used for each tank.
The Dong Ying facilities are located in Dong Ying, China in Shandong Province. Dong Ying is located near the mouth of the Yellow River Southeast of Tianjin. The bay where the Yellow meets the sea is called Bo Hai (about 37.5º North). This is the same latitude as San Francisco or Washington, DC. The Shandong Province has about 90,000,000 residents and is one of China's largest.
