Pulsair Systems offers the most powerful, industrial and rugged mixing process for agitating, blending and mixing liquids in any size or geometrically shaped FRP tank. Corrosive chemicals can be quickly blended in fiberglass tanks with Pulsair unique and proven mixing process of sequentially injecting large pulses of large air or gas bubbles on the tank bottom through floor mounted diffuser accumulator plates. These non-moving, self cleaning accumulator plates are secured to the tank floor and connected to a series of air delivery pipe which convey the low, medium or high pressure air or gas pulses.
The accumulator plates are typically constructed of PVC and adhered to the bottom of the fiberglass mixing tank. The use of the PVC for the accumulator plate and the air delivery line is suitable and compatible with corrosion liquids typically stored or mixed in glass and fiberglass mixing tanks.
How it works:
The number of air pulse points, bubble forming diffusers or accumulator plates is determined by the geometric shape or diameter, the liquids and the mixing goals of the owner/operator.

Portable & Lightweight Drum Mixer:
The Pulsair 5-55 Drum-Stick drum mixer is small, lightweight and weights only 3 lbs (~1.4 kg). The 55-gal drum agitator is the smallest and lightest drum mixer on the market to buy and simple to use. The drum mixer includes a bung clamp allowing the operator to mount the drum mixer in a 55-gallon drum mixing lid. The liquids can be quickly and safely mixed by mounting the mixer through the bung hole and pulsing the compressed air into the bottom of the drum.
Bung Mounted Drum Mixer:
The Pulsair 55-gallon drum mixer includes a stainless steel bung clamp allowing the operator to mount the drum mixer in the 55-gal drum lid with a standard 2″ NPT opening. The drum agitator can be used as a 30 gallon drum mixer and mounted in other similar size liquid containers that need mixing and agitation.
Stainless Steel Food-grade Drum Mixer:

All-pneumatic, Air Drum Mixer:
The 5-55 Drum-Stick drum mixer is an all-pneumatic, air driven drum mixer agitator. Compressed air or gas can be used to operate the 55-gallon agitator in drums. No electricity is required to operate this drum mixer. The operator has control of the mixing speed and mixing power on the air operated industrial pneumatic drum mixer. Heating 55-gallon Drums Faster:
Quickly heating liquids in 55-gallon drums can be accelerated by mixing the liquids in the drum at the same time the drum is being heated. 55-gallon drum heater blankets and heater bands can be attached to the outside of the drum or barrel during mixing. By rotating the liquid across the heat source with a Pulsair drum mixer, time-to-temperature can be significantly shorted as the heat transfer time across the liquid is reduced. Drum lids with two (2) 2 inch NPT threaded openings can also be used allowing for a drum immersion heater to be used with a the non-mechanical Pulsair 55-gallon drum mixer at the same time. Since there are no moving parts inside the drum with Pulsair, there is no fear of damaging the drum immersion heater.
