Wine Blending

Wine Blending is the operation where two different lots of wine are combined. The wine lots can be different single-varietal wines, two already blended wines , at least two wine lots that are the same varietal, or even two wine lots of same varietal and vineyard.

In order to get the best wine blending Pulsair offers winemakers a simple and efficient method. This fast wine blending process uses bursts of compressed air, nitrogen or CO2 gases sequentially released at the tank bottom to quickly blend two or more different wines.  Winemakers can also blend in other additives to their wines to quickly create their desired wine.

Benefits of Pulsair's Wine blending Solutions:

  • The vertical mixing process quickly blends 100% the wine reducing blending times and energy costs
  • Save time and labor without having to carry around and sterilize pumps and hoses
  • No shear during blending process as often happens with mechanical mixers and pumps
  • Blend white or red wines with air, nitrogen or carbon dioxide gas
